First blog!

Hi everyone! I'm super excited to get this blog started! I'm a fashion merchandising student at Bay State College. I hope to one day open up a fabulous salon/boutique combo on Newbury st. Where you will be able to shop, get a mani/pedi, and even have a martini, all under the same roof! I grew up in Massachusettes, and I've been living in the city of Boston for 3 years. I absolutely adore Boston (well besides the weather, but what are you gonna do?) but I wish I knew a thing or two about how to survive this city when I first moved here!

Clothes/shopping? What if you can't afford Newbury st. but want something with more quality than downtown crossing? H&M, Marshalls on Boylston, and Filene's basement are always good for a fashionista on a budget!

Men, and where to meet them? Ladies don't waste your time at the pseudo trendy clubs such as gypsy bar, liquor store, ect. Boys (not men) attend these establishments in hopes of getting a few gropes on the dance floor, and if they're lucky a drunken one night stand. Now I've had a few good times with the girls at some of these places myself, but as far as trying to find a date? Please avoid.

Manis/pedis, waxing, ect.? I know so many good deals! Ladies you DON'T have to spend $70+ on a good brazilian!

How to deal with Bostionians with attitude, the psycho redsox fanatics, dealing with the horrors of taking the T, and so much more!

You don't have to be from Boston to enjoy my blog, as I will discuss many topics that relate to women in general, not just Bostonian women!

My goal is to blog at least 3-4 times a week...I look forward to any feed back, rants, raves, ect. Don't be shy!

  1. All Boston guys are trouble to begin with; you might want to have an extra martini or two!
