Not a fan of oversized shirts....

So earlier this week I was hired to be an absolut promo girl. While I was very excited to be hired, my excitement was somewhat diminished when I saw the uniform.

I took a picture with one of my co-workers at the launch party event and here it is:

Ugh. An oversized long sleeved T-shirt?!?! I mean I know I was less than thrilled when I had to wear a white bikini for my malibu promos, but there has to be a happy medium!!!

If you require your promo girls to be cute and attractive...at least give us something cute to wear! I think tight baby-tee or cropped shirt and mini skirt would be a much better choice! If our target audience is 21-35 yr old males...we shouldn't be afraid to show a little skin. I know in promotions I've done in the past some of the girls complained about "showing" their stomachs and wearing "revealing" clothing.

Guess what? The way I see it you have two options:
1. You don't like your stomach? Hit the gym.
2.DON'T BE A PROMO GIRL if you don't like showing skin!!!!

It's really not that hard. End of rant.

On a more positive note, I had a blast at the absolut launch party, and got to sample quite a few of the new absolut boston drinks...very tasty!

Alright, now that I've gotten that out of my system I'm off to do my pilates ab exercises.

I know, I know! I promised to keep this blog updated, but due to my last semester in college things got a little crazy!!!

Anywho...summer is almost over :-( But that means fall fashion is approaching!!! There's nothing I love more than boots, cropped jackets, sexy sweaters, and dark nail polish! And guess what? we can still wear our mini dresses by throwing on a pair of tights, or even fishnets for a night out ;-)

BUT! I will still enjoy wearing my cute summer dresses while I can!

Moving on...last night I went to the Absolut Boston launch party. While there were some well dressed party go-ers, I must say Boston fashion just pales in comparision to that of NYC. Day fashion is actually pretty good around here, but what I've seen lately at the clubs/bars just isn't acceptable!

Sorry guys...but the same white or light blue button down from American Eagle is getting old. And can we please keep the man jewlery (i.e. tacky fake gold chains) to a minimum? I won't even get into the man with the fish hooks in his ears carrying a back pack trying to get into the club....

I won't be as harsh on the women, as there were a decent amount of cute well dressed girls. But some of the hairstyle choices had me laughing my ass off. No, having a rats nest sitting atop your head is NOT attractive!!! Also...some of these girls need to chill out on whatever is turning their skin orange. Oh yeah, and the drag queen make-up isn't flattering either.

One last note...Senator Kennedy's motorcade is going right thorough my neighborhood as we speak...I prefer to watch it on the news, but it's a very sad end of an area, and I still can't believe this historic event is happening right around the corner from me. Ted Kennedy was not a man with out flaws, but he fought for so many that were less fortunate, and I definitely respect that.
